I followed the manufacturer’s instructions and seasoned it before use. I’ve cooked bacon and catfish in it and it cooks beautifully. And all you need to use to clean it is water. The texture of the enamel is not real smooth like the white enamel it’s a cross between enamel or rather it looks like it’s a cross between enamel and cast iron. However they did it, I really like this skillet.
