Be sure you have the straw part all the way open. I find I don’t always have it fully extended. If it is not fully extended it will not work. Also check underneath and make sure straw is all the way up into the port on the underside of the lid. That is universal trouble shooting for these types of straw lids. If still not working return to seller for replacement.
You can try that but be careful beverage can be very hot. If that doesn’t work, then I would just buy the other top without the store. I know it’s a little pricey, but it’s better than not having to use it for hot beverages. Good luck.
It’s 100% LEGIT as you can tell from the font. HydroFlask got rid of the trademark logo back in 2020 to give the logo a cleaner look. Also, if you look at the logo letting at the bottom of the bottle, you will see that it’s consistent with their print. Finally, this bottle came direct from HyrdroFlask.

When the straw lid comes with the bottle the straws are cut to the size of that particular bottle. When purchased separately they come long enough to fit the 40oz bottle and can be cut to fit all the other bottles using the included cutting guide.
