Mark tree purchase portable air conditioner with review design flaws The set of controls on the top of the unit, the app and the remote are all different. All functions can be controlled by the remote. The ‘swing’ can’t be controlled via the unit’s top controls and the app only allows temperature and fan speed to be controlled. Feels like they were designed by separate teams who didn’t talk to each other and implemented by yet another team who didn’t question their decisions

Please review pages 10-12 of the installation instructions – https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/B1MfzHCrAaL.pdf – Once the window plate has been installed correctly, the Exhaust Hose Adaptor should be inserted into the opening in the window kit and then you slide it to lock it in place. You then insert the small screw to attach the exhaust hose assembly to the sealing plate assembly.
