I have owned a few of these. I have 2 now. I have found that different propane hose regulators work differently on these heaters. The regulator is that round thing connected to the hose. I can put a hose with 1 regulator on it and the pilot will go out sometimes. I put a different hose and it never goes out. I don’t know why, and I can’t tell you what regulator to buy.
