I believe that it would. I have it in a 200 sq ft room with 13 ft ceilings, the house is 118 yrs old w/no insulation and it works very well. I do have the bigger size in another room. It has 3 burners instead of 2 and you can turn on 1,2 or all 3. It heats 2 rooms I have.
